NHT sponsors educational and cultural events.

NHT members write books, articles and oral history accounts.

NHT members offer Swedish language instruction for classes of five or more.

NHT members provide instructional services on a variety of topics relating to the New England Scandinavian-American Experience.

The NHT archivist is available to help provide Scandinavian organizations and individuals with instruction for the care and maintenance of archival collections.  The archivist will also be available to help guide and assist these organizations with recording and preserving their archival materials.

Reference Services are available to scholars and researchers interested in NHT's collections. Swedish genealogy reference services are also available.
