NHT is a non-profit historical and educational organization.The present board of directors includes historians, published authors, educators, community leaders and archivists. Members have a strong commitment to the preservation of New England's Scandinavian heritage, to the preservation of manuscripts and artifacts, and to the dissemination of its history.
